About ‘Music for Birmingham’

At the Birmingham Music Awards, it’s our mission to bring together the Birmingham music community and create opportunities for musicians and music professionals alike. We want to see young musicians and all those who contribute to the music landscape thrive, and be rewarded for their achievements, hard work and dedication. This is why we have created ‘Music for Birmingham. We are more than just an awards ceremony; we strive to best support and sustain talent and music careers across the region. We need to build a stronger music business infrastructure to retain our talent in our city. And that only happens when we shine a light on how incredible our music scene is, has been, and will continue to be.

Your support is crucial to enable the fourth Birmingham Music Awards (BMA 2022) to take place at The MIll on the 21st of September. The ceremony will add to the string of amazing events happening across Birmingham this year and, as in previous years, the evening looks set to be another world-class, celebrity-attended glittering red carpet occasion for all to enjoy, and an opportunity that simply can’t be missed.
